The sign company that is donating signs has given us a proof that we have approved. There will be signs up aout a week in advance of the date with a "TODAY" rider we can add to the top on the day of the event.

REMINDER - Sept. 30 registration deadline for $25

Just a quick reminder that the September 30 deadline for registering for the Home Business Expo for $25 is almost here. After that the fee goes to $30 - still a great bargain for this event. Please remind your friends and acquaintances with MLM/network marketing businesses to register soon, or to contact either of us if there are queastions. We still have a good amount of space left.

More on Publicity - The Blue Thong Society

I have sent an email with information about this event to the 6 local Blue Thong Society chapters. This is a terrific organization that supports many charitable events and organizations in the San Diego area. We hope there will be members who will want to participate, but also individuals who will be interested in attending.

Door Prizes for Attendees

We are planning to offer door prizes for attendees as a way to incent people to come to the event. We have announced this on the flyer and it will be in the press releases as well. We will give out tickets to people when they arrive (or through some other means) and do periodic drawings, or perhaps at the end (need to discuss this a bit more and figure out the logistics).

We would love to have vendors donate some sort of prize if they would like - helps with PR, etc. You can obviously do whatever drawings you might want to at your table if that is something you typically do. And ideas?

First Ever Home Business Expo in Carlsbad

Dale Phillip and Jeff Dowler, have organized the first business expo in the San Diego area to focus on network and multilevel marketing businesses that are home based. This event will give the general public a tremendous opportunity to explore more than 30 home-based businesses.

You will learn how YOU can make money owning your own business, with residual income. You can also find out everything you need to know about starting your own business, either parttime or fulltime, in your home. And you can buy products and services directly from the vendors.

For those of you in the MLM and network marketing arena, here is a great chance to recruit for your downline, market to the public, and sell your products and services.

THE EVENT

• Sunday, November 12 from 1 - 5 PM in CARLSBAD
• Held at K1 Speed Indoor Go-Kart Raceway, at 6212 Corte del Abeto, off Camino Vida Roble which runs between El Camino Real and Palomar Airport Road
• FREE admission and plenty of parking
• The venue is open to the public before, during and after the event, so bring the whole family to enjoy some indoor go-karting and patronize our host!
• Snack bar and restrooms on site

INFORMATION FOR VENDORS

We are actively recruiting vendors who wish to participate and the interest has been substantial. We do not allow a franchise business to participate. NOTE: Only 1 vendor per company can participate in order to avoid conflict. If you are interested, please make sure you register and send in your money to reserve your spot, otherwise someone in your company may get it first.

Registration is $25 per vendor (1 3' X 6' table plus 1-2 chairs) BY SEPTEMBER 30, 2006; fee is $30 thereafter. NO REGISTRATION AFTER OCTOBER 25 and NO WALK-INS. Sorry, we cannot refund the fee in the case of your cancellation or no show.
